Her Story
She was originally named Lil because she was exactly that. A little bit of chaos. A little bit of sweetness. A little bit of attitude. A whole lot of love in a tiny gray & white package.
Lily was diagnosed with HCM & an enlarged heart at just four & a half years old. We knew our time was limited, but knowing doesn't make it easier. I would have done anything for more time with her. When she passed, the house got quieter in a way that's hard to describe. The kind of quiet that makes you realize how much space a seven-pound cat actually fills.
Why I Built This
I'm a product manager by day & a cat person by nature. After Lily passed, I wanted something more than a photo album. I wanted a little piece of her that could still hang out with me, still be nearby, still feel present. Not a replacement: a keepsake.
Pets are chosen family. They don't ask for much & they give you everything. LilBits is my way of giving a little bit of that back.
